Noam Chomsky in Olomouc
The American philosopher, logician and linguist Noam Chomsky has accepted the invitation of Palacký University in Olomouc. One of the most influential intellectuals of our time will address the audience on Wednesday, June 4th at 7 p.m. at the Metropol cinema. The original date has been changed and the debate will be held one day earlier. This has been caused by modifications in Professor Chomsky's programme in the Czech Republic.
In the debate hosted by Jiří Lach, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Chomsky will answer questions sent via an online form. Martin Škabraha, a Czech philosopher from Palacký University, and documentary filmmaker Vít Janeček will also join the discussion. The discussion will focus on contemporary politics and philosophy.
Due to the change of the date, tickets might still be available via online registration. The admission fee is 300 CZK.
